Semifinal JUNIOR Submission of your video recording no later than May 10, 2023

Category A (9-11 years) max. 6 min.

Category B (12-14 years) max 9 min.

Category C (15-17 years) max 12 min.

Category D (18-20 years) max 15 min.

Free choice of repertoire. Binding registration fee: 50 euros (550 Swedish crowns)

Semifinal MASTER Submission of your video recording no later than May 10, 2023

Category E (21-29 years) max 18 min.

Free choice of repertoire. Binding registration fee: 80 euros (900 Swedish crowns)

Final JUNIOR On location in Stenhammarsalen, Gothenburg concert hall 9-10 September 2023

Category A (9-11 years) max 8 min.

CategoryB (12-14 years) max 10 min.

Category C (15-17 years) max 12 min.

Category D (18-20 years) max 15 min.

Free choice of repertoire, but we gladly encourage a piece by a Swedish composer, but it is not necessary.

Allowed to play the same piece from the semi-final (from the video recording).

Category E (21-29 years) max. 20 min.

Free choice of repertoire but must contain at least one piece by a Swedish composer.

Allowed to play the same piece from the semi-final (from the video recording).

Prior to registration for the piano competition

  • Mandatory registration fee is paid together with registration for the piano competition. Otherwise, the notification will be invalid

  • Last date for registration: 25 May 2023 (video recording + fully completed registration on the website + registration fee resp. category)

  • The participants who will compete in this year's piano competition may only register for the piano competition (not the master class).

  • The program is encouraged to be played by heart. 

  • The repertoire can be changed no later than 1 month before the final.

  • Notes for the jury should be sent to us via email or given to us at registration on the day of the competition. 

  • When registering, send us your video recording (link to Youtube is also acceptable), a receipt as proof of your registration fee and a high-resolution photo via email and clearly fill out a complete registration form on the website.

  • Participants are responsible for their own travel and accommodation. 

  • The result cannot be appealed.
