Now you can register for our first international piano competition with a focus on Swedish piano music.
The competition / piano festival will take place between 20-22 August at the Concert Hall in Gothenburg.
Together with our partners, we celebrate the Royal Academy of Music 250 years and
Stenhammar 150 years and the city of Gothenburg 400 years.
For three days, the program, in addition to the competition, will be filled with teaching, lectures and a party concert.
Registration is made via the form.

a receipt for the member / registration fee: SEK 150
Regardless of whether you want to participate in the piano competition alone or only the master class or both, it is a lump sum of SEK 150.

(enter your full name, email address and "participant").
The film recording must contain one or a few different piano works that represent your piano playing and the recording must be newly recorded. The recording should show your abilities, both technically and musically and preferably any work that you intend to play in the semi-final, for example piano works by a Swedish composer. The duration is a maximum of 10 minutes and you send us a video together with the registration and the registration fee. We appreciate you playing by heart.

During your visit, you are responsible for your own expenses such as travel expenses and accommodation.
The semifinals and finals are scheduled to take place at Stenhammarsalen on 21 and 22 August 2021.
Included must book places in advance and a maximum of 3 people / family.
There are limited places so first come, first served and GPF members have priority.

The decision if you are selected will be sent by mail at latest 5 August.
