Gothenburg International Piano Competition results
Thanks for this year to alla who have participated in the third edition of the piano competition.
It was a high level for all the finalists and we wish all of you young pianists the best of luck in the future with developing and being inspired in the world of music!
Final with young international pianists in Stenhammarsalen, Gothenburg's concert hall
on 9-10 September 2023
Here you can experience young pianists who come from different countries to Gothenburg!
It's at a high level in the classical piano repertoire and all will be broadcast live both the final on Saturday and Sunday!
Note that it is only open to the public on Sunday, September 10 at 10-12 and the award-winning concert at 14-16.
French inspired festival program at the Gothenburg Opera September 3!
The program includes both solo piano music, two pianos, eight-hand piano music, French romances, string quartet, piano quintet and young talented star pianists! Entry is free, but places need to be booked from August 29.
NOTE! due to the Gothenburg Marathon, the area around the opera house will be closed to all car traffic between 12:30 and 7 p.m. The course can be crossed on foot. Please note that it is not possible to drive all the way to our parking slot or entrance on this day.
Paint and play the piano at Bältespännarparken on August 22 in connection with the Culture Festival!
At 12 Inauguration of piano at Bältespännarparken. Everyone, both young and old, can paint with colorful andnon-toxic colors on the piano to inaugurate the piano and the Gothenburg Piano Festival kick off!
At 14-15 Pianists, both solo and four-handed play on the piano!
Other times between 12:30-2pm and 3-4pm are free for the public to play the piano, so take care and wespeak up what you've learned!
